As we mentioned before, the management team at Fairchild Gold (FAIR.V) is on a fast track to become one the leading Junior Miners in Nevada, by having an expert acquisition team scooping up historic mines, which rarely come up for sale. They just released news on a third acquisition.

They just moved into Nevada’s famous Carlin Trend area with the new acquisition..

Fairchild’s goal is to quietly assemble a portfolio of projects with quality assets, in Tier-One jurisdictions. With Gold at $4,000 an ounce, compared to March of 2025 when Gold was $3,000 an ounce and February of 2024 when it was trading at $2,000 an ounce – the team recognizes it has to establish its base of the best properties quickly, before competing Junior Miners arrive.

Nevada, in our opinion, is world’s most mining-friendly jurisdictions. That importance will later be clear, if the world sinks into a deep recession and jurisdictions outside of US. decide they need a bigger slice of their own inground resources. Such as Gold and other metals which are taken from their country, on their lands, by foreigners.

Incredibly Nevada, accounts for 80 percent of the United States’ current annual gold output. It has produced nearly half of all the gold ever mined in the nation. If Nevada were a country, it would now rank fourth in annual world gold production.

Much of Nevada’s gold has come—and is still coming—from a five-mile-wide, 40-mile-long strip of land called the Carlin Trend that is the world’s third-richest gold-mining district of all time. While Gold was first discovered in the area in the 1870s, only 22,000 ounces were recovered by 1999. Then using modern (modern in 1961) exploration efforts, a team of geologist from Newmont (NEM) led by John Livermore and J. Alan Coope ramped up exploration, and were quite surprised with what they found.

To date the Carlin Trend produced 98 million troy ounces of gold. To understand the enormous potential that both ongoing and future exploration in Nevada has, compare the total dollar value of the find 1961, when Gold was $35 an ounce, to its value today.

1961: $3,432,000,000 (as in billions)
2025: $392,000,00,000

That’s not Gold which may be found someday, that’s Gold that was found, recovered and sold.

The term the Newmont team coined for much of Nevada’s Gold was “hidden in plain site.” What this means is that in Nevada, much of the Gold are microscopic particles, dispersed through siltstone and limestone so it often can’t be seen or panned, the way it was by 19th‑century prospectors. Because the metal is disseminated, rather than in obvious quartz veins, early surface prospecting missed the deposits.

Using modern exploration and extraction methods, turned an overlooked area (hidden in plain site) into one of the world’s richest gold districts.

Currently, Nevada produces about 5.7 million troy ounces of gold each year (valued at $22 billion – every year), which is a majority of all production in the U.S. The state’s gold-mining industry now has 27 active mines that provide 15,000 mining jobs with an average annual income of $80,000, along with another 65,000 jobs supplying goods and services to the mines.

Recent Fairchild Acquisitions

  • Nevada Titan Project 2023
  • Golden Arrow Project 2025
  • Carlin Queen Project 2025

All of the Fairchild projects and properties have two things in common. One is that the properties had previously produced precious metals, and/or two, is that they are in close proximity to competitor’s sites who currently producing enormous amounts of metals.

Just look at some of the dynamics of the Carlin Project as an example.

  1. Carlin Queen is drill-ready. What this means is it has reached a stage where exploratory drilling can commence immediately, without further delays due to missing data, permits, or logistical setup. This doesn’t mean they will start drilling, but that the project is advanced far enough that they could. With acquired properties, new management always, always confirms previous geological results. But at the end of the day, it shaves off a considrable amount time and expense.
  2. It is located near the world-class Carlin Trend (see above). It also lies adjacent to the north side of the Hollister mine of Hecla Mining Company, a past-producer ~570,000 ounces of gold valued at $2.28 billion.
  3. The nearby Midas Mine of Hecla to date has produced over 2 million ounces of high-grade gold ~ valued at $8 billion, underscoring the notable attractiveness of exploring in Nevada.
  4. The Carlin Queen also benefits from the past geological mapping of the entire property by the U.S. Geological Survey and more recent mapping and geochemical sampling. Ground magnetic, gravity, and Induced Polarization geophysical surveys have also been conducted on the property.
  5. CEO Nikolas Perrault stated, “With this additional 100% Acquisition of the Carlin Queen Project, Fairchild has in less than 18 months, established a significant Nevada-focused gold and copper portfolio. Carlin Queen combines strong exploration upside with a unique strategic positioning in a proven district location alongside world-class mines such as Hollister, Midas, and Goldstrike.”
