One Day Gain Signals Brighter Future for Society Pass (SOPA) $5.30.
275% in a day! There are times we wish we were traders!

But sadly, we are not. However, we can imagine someone who slowly acquired 100,000 shares in the past month (when trading was light), after we alerted them that they were getting close to spinning off one of their portfolio holdings, NusaTrip (NUTR). A lucky investor who acquired $150,000 worth (at $1.50) woke up yesterday with stock worth $530,000! Wait, what..
Of course, it opened $1.00 higher, so the first decision a trader had to make was to sell or not at $3.00, when someone else was buying in size. Traders had to spend all day doing that. And that is something we do not have a stomach for.
Look at the volume (see volume charts below), just when we thought we’d seen everything in the past 50 years. We watched at 10:06 am when it had traded 99,964,000 shares, wondering if it could reach 100 million. It did, and by day’s end, it crossed 200 million. OMG.
Fun For Some Day Traders, Disappointment for Others.

ONE DAY CHART

VOLUME CHARTS
Good to note that this wasn’t 200 million in buying. It was 200 million in trading. Otherwise, the stock would have gone to $80. What it is – is day traders, who might buy at $3.00, sell at $3.25, buy again at $3.50, and sell at $4.00, buy at $4.50, sell at $4.00. We can imagine 10,000 day traders at home, each trading 1,000 shares, ten times a day. That’s 10 million shares right there.
Also note, most traders don’t make trades based on fundamentals or corporate potential. They know a symbol, they know volume, and they know movement. So we can’t depend on them to provide a floor, nor attempt to pick a ceiling based on any traditional gauge of value. Sad, but true.

When we issued the alert, it traded only 76,000 shares, up from a paltry 19,000 shares a few days earlier. Though it did pick up a few days later.

As we stated in our last write-up, “with a bit of luck, this could very well be the best performing idea we’ve had – over the next 2-3 years. We didn’t mean in 2-3 hours. It’s not a price target, we don’t issue buy or sell edicts (do that on your own), but we could envision a share price well over $15, in the next two to three years and over $30 in 5-10 years.
If everything goes to plan.
So while being up 250% in a day is fun and all (or frustrating), depending on how traders traded it – it doesn’t really matter to us if it’s back to $3.00 (opening looks like $4) or at $7.00.
One Day Gain Signals Brighter Future for Society Pass
Here’s what we mean by that. A brighter future, in our opinion, means investors (in the future) may begin studying the Society Pass fundamentals, its business strategy, and the start-up companies it has holdings in, and the start-ups it invests in the future.
And they MAY like what they find, and decide to stick around. Instead of flipping for dollars.
With their in-depth study (and a bit of optimism), we can envision Society Pass going from grossly undervalued to fully valued, and then maybe ‘premium’ valued, where high-tech companies tend to trade.
What excites us most about The Society Pass’ future is its long-term “incubator” business strategy. It isn’t necessarily their current holdings in NusaTrip (despite its $168 million market value) or even Thoughtful Media.
It’s what Society Pass MAY invest in, in the next year, the next three years, and the next 10 years. Our roll of the dice is that they find the next AI or digital currency-powered app start-up, and we’re truly off to the races. They now have a war chest to invest in 20 more start-up companies. If the stock hits Ascendiant’s price target of $15, we would expect a secondary to raise real money, to enable them to fund 40 or 60 more start-ups. Increasing their odds of finding that monster performer.

We are also initiating coverage after the close on another Incubator (Vystar: VYST) with plans to spin-off certain subsidiaries. It doesn’t trade actively yet, but they have plans to get relisted and issue details on its spin-off plans in the coming months.
