Well That’s Working out Quite Well..
When we got the news the other day that Mining Legend Dr. Sergei Diakov, reported some rather excellent numbers from his drilling at department at one of his companies in Utah (he’s with four public companies), we jumped right in and added it to the Watch List @$0.27.
That’s all we needed to hear. He’s that important, influential and talented.
In mining, nobody can guarantee a discovery. But some geologists have earned the right to be watched. Dr. Sergei Diakov is one of them. His career includes involvement with some of the world’s largest mining companies and, most importantly, a track record of identifying and advancing major mineral discoveries. That track record is why we pay attention when Sergei takes an interest in a property.
ADDED TO WATCH LIST

AUG 6, 2026: Adding BCM Resources Corporation (B.V) $0.27, to Watch List.
AUG 6, 2026: BCM Encounters Strong Mineralization at its Thompson Knolls Project, Utah.
The story here can be summed up as, we are following the work of world renowned geologist Dr Sergei Daikov, who in the past worked for giants like BHP, Anglo American, and AngloGold Ashanti. Dr Diakov is now President of BCM Resources and quite simply, if he’s interested, we’re interested.
He led a research team to discover what would later become Oyu Tolgoi, a Mongolian mine which has a current Total Gross in Ground value of $221 billion, with a ‘B’ – from nothing. Just dirt and sand to well over $200 billion! Google it if you don’t believe us!
So there is the story. We are betting on the jockey.
BCM THEN

BCM NOW

We covered the ‘story’ behind BCM Resources last week and nothing has changed since then, except the share price. You can read it here: Adding BCM Resources Corporation (B.V) $0.27, to Watch List.
You can read about these ‘excellent’ numbers in depth, reported in a related Press Release.
But if your not excited by sentences like..
“Hole TK20 is a vertical drill hole collared 208 m northeast of discovery hole TK8 that intercepted 510 ft (155.4 m) of mineralized skarn grading 0.66% Cu, 0.12 gpt Au, and 7.4 gpt Ag.”
..we suggest you just pass. Little in the press release makes any sense to U.S. investors (unless you’re a geologist). We prefer the ‘story’ told or analysts or even traders, over reading raw hard rock data.
Last week we also promised a more detailed report on BCM for this week, but we have instead decided to come out with a new series called MINING LEGENDS!
This issue covers Dr Diakov’s incredible track record, with write-ups on BMC (B) and three of his other companies – including Fairchild Gold (FAIR), Norsemont Mining (NOM), and Mogotes Metals (MOG).

The first issue will be with Dr Sergei Diakov, who was on the early team, which found a monstrous fortune right under their feet. Today in the middle of nowhere, it’s valued at over $200 billion.
Read about his journey and the additional 4 projects (all public) he’s working on today.
